The results of philanthropy are always beyond calculation.
— Miriam Beard

With your contribution, Community Alliance Against Family Abuse (CAAFA) is able to help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children rebuild their lives. Monetary donations provided by individuals are important because they provide us with flexible general funding support which can be used to address the organization’s greatest areas of program need. All monetary donations support services to the individuals, families, and children we serve each year.

For other ways to give, such as monthly sustaining donations, planned giving, third party events, etc., please contact CAAFA at 480-982-0205.

Get Involved

Volunteer:

We greatly appreciate the support of our community. Without volunteers, we would not be nearly as effective in serving individuals and families who have experienced abuse. We hope you find your experience with CAAFA to be both fulfilling and enlightening. For additional information about volunteer opportunities.

Tax Credit

Help Transform Lives and Lower Your Taxes!

With the passage of SB1216, the Arizona Tax Credit for Qualifying Charitable Organizations has been doubled!

Get up to $800  in dollar-for-dollar Arizona State Tax Credit when you donate to Community Alliance Against Family Abuse! In addition, you no longer have to itemize to take the credit!

How Do You Make A Qualified Charitable Tax Credit Contribution to CAAFA?

Online: Make a donation and indicate “tax credit”

Mail: Please make your $400 (for individuals) or $800 (for married couples) qualified charitable contribution

Payable to CAAFA and mail to:

CAAFA
PO Box 3778
Apache Junction, Arizona 85117

Letter must be postmarked no later than December 31, 2016. Write “tax credit” in the memo line.

1. Available only for donations to qualified charities that provide services to working-poor families;

2. This tax credit was formerly known as the Working-Poor Tax Credit;

3. Amounts lower than $400/$800 also qualify, so a $100 gift qualifies you for a $100 tax credit on your state taxes, lowering your final amount owed.

4. Taxpayers filing as “single” and “head of household” status may claim a maximum credit of $400. Taxpayers filing as “married filing separate” may claim a maximum credit of $400. Taxpayers that file as “married filing joint” may claim a maximum credit of $800.

For additional information, please consult your tax preparer or accountant. Your gift will have a huge impact for those experiencing domestic violence and sexual abuse!
